Richard A. Bierschbach

Richard A. Bierschbach is a Professor of Law at Cardozo Law School, where he teaches and researches in the areas of administrative law and criminal justice. He previously served as the Law School’s Vice Dean and also held positions in the federal government, including as an Attorney-Advisor in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel. This essay draws on his article, Rationing Criminal Justice, co-authored with Stephanos Bibas, which will appear later this year in the Michigan Law Review.
