  • The U.S. Senate passed the USA Freedom Act, a bill which will curb the government’s ability to collect telephone metadata.
  • In a Title VII religious discrimination case, the Supreme Court issued an opinion in favor of a Muslim woman who Abercrombie & Fitch did not hire because she wore a headscarf pursuant to her religious obligations, which conflicted with Abercrombie’s employee dress policy.
